“The new EU Trademark Regulation: new opportunities for the fashion industry”
Join us on Thursday 14 July 2016 at 12.30 pm at DLA Piper, Via dei Due Macelli 66, Rome, for the new session of our Fashion Lunch Series! This time we will talk about the new EU Trademark Regulation and the new opportunities for the fashion industry.
Speakers of the seminar will be our Sara Balice and Elena Varese from DLA Piper Milan, who will outline the recent changes introduced by the EU Trademark Regulation, along with the new opportunities available for the fashion industry, from the registration of non-traditional trademarks to the possibility for trademark owners to act against preparatory acts of infringement.
This will be also the perfect time to introduce you Annamaria Algieri, our European and Italian Trademark Attorney, leading our Filing and Prosecution practice, who will give us some information on the amendments introduced by the Regulation in the filing and prosecution of EU trademarks.
Afterwards, some practical cases will be discussed to illustrate the scope of the changes introduced and a short debate will follow.
